Every time someone programs in flash God kills a kitten.
(and a crab)
You know, they used to say that about Javascript. And now there's an AJAX craze.
The king of Salamis is back? There is always NoScript. Yay.

Magax Destroyer and Dubloon Distaster. What do you think of them?
I personally liked the old version of Dubloon Distaster better. It had a better pay out, a faster ship and less sensitive mines. I didn't really like Magax Destroyer to begin with, so I didn't really notice too much of a difference ... |

| Yeah, I used to be able to have 2 browsers open and play the same game twice. This was useful for WC as there are strategies where a certain score is more useful that another (I'm not going to explain them *wink*). At some point this was not possible anymore. Also, it seemed I was not able to safe ... |

Since a month or so, there has been a new version (or update) of Dubloon Disaster.
Hereunder is a list of the best changes (ahem...):
* The score has changed. Every dubloon is worth 5 times more which does NOT corelate with the dubloons in Neopia. I don't understand why this was necessary ... |

I'm not sure how certain they are, but there are whispers that Opera might also be susceptible to the same attack.
A separate analysis by GNUCitizen.org shows that the Opera browser may also be susceptible.
Bad journalism from PCmag.com and bad research from AySz88, but no offense / nothing ... |

1. Play easy, high-NP yielding sponsor games (some of the best, in my opinion, are listed on my page liked to in my siggy image).
2. Do Esophagor quests when he asks for cheap Spooky Foods and sell his prizes for NP. Do Taelia quests when she asks for items under ~2,500 NP as you usually get most ... |

We call those things which fill the screen from top to bottom (over the content of the website) skyscrapers.
I hate them. Any website using such crappy advertisement is alienating their customers/viewers. You don't want to irritate those people so they leave your website. It is one very valid ... |

Greasemonkey / Improveneo is a 3rd party program. So is Flash, Java, shockwave, etc. I'm assuming 2nd party programs are the browsers itself. Another thing I keep reading is "greasemonkey" is bad or ebil. Can someone show me something I missed or was this just assumed?
Third party software is ... |

Wether the Firefox bug reference is a bug or a (sloppy) feature is up to debate.
No. It is a known bug. You can find it on the bugzilla part of the Firefox website under bug #292789. Firefox personnel have been attempting to fix it. Neopets are exploiting a bug. You can google it and find things ... |

But I'm paying for this site. I'm a premium member. And while I'm not crying out entitlement, I don't believe it's fair of Neopets to threaten to freeze paying users, especially when they're exploiting a Firefox glitch, and dictating what programs users can use on their computers .
As ... |

What if I use a CSS file to block banners?
What if I disable JavaScript?
What if my browser does not support JavaScript?
What if I use a Greasemonkey clone for IE?
What if I use Greasemonkey, but don't use it for *.neopets.com?
Oh right, I forgot! Its a clumsey rule in the first place...
It ... |
