Looks like I get to be the first one to point out an inconsistancy between the different perspectives we've heard so far.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this, but Linae (Kougra) is the only person so far who's memory of the storm places Anshu (Ruki) below deck. Every other chapter shows ...

I think that the comment about Mystery Island was meant simply as a hint about the course the ship was taking. I doubt however that Mystery Island would be the final destination, because that would be too obvious, and Mystery Island has already had its own plot.
