Hello there,
Picxia.com is a virtual character website that will be opening in late summer. The site is based
along the same lines as Chibifriends but very different..
The programming for the website is about 90% complete and now we are looking for talented artists to help finish the website ... |

Wow, great so this really does mean we each have our own file with 12 uniquely rearranged constellations, that hopefully match up to our map(s)?
By the way, for those that are wondering about the secondary elusive map, it may be a glitch, and some are checking on that. But if you are that curious ... |

| I don't know what you mean - The oriantation is set within the .swf file, and is to scale. This is the simplest way to see the exact perspective of the constellations! Within the flash file there is an image that represents your telescope view - which is how I know they are to the right proportions ... |

Ria, I do appreciate it but if the images are individual without orientation, then you might better well spend your energy connecting stars in the sky (no offense TNT). Thanks, though!

Ok, Altadorian Astronomers, I expect when I wake up tomorrow:
1) Cranberry will have sumbitted a bug report RE: the star_data / servers,
2) Elric will have given us her secret of finding coordinates with star_data,
3) riaherod will have posted a tutorial so we can all decompile our unique Flash ... |

riaherod: Wow, thanks, that looks slightly different from the one that I think it was darkfire posted. I wonder if we all have different orientations of them in our unique map(s)?

(the Flash image i put together with both my star maps)
EDIT: Heh, then no wonder I couldn't find anything anyway ... |

Hey guys.
I made something quite impressive!

I decompiled the .swf file for the telescope and adapted the file to show the above image. This is a scaled down version of the image ... |

Yeah so....apparently I have won. I don't really know why. I mearly clicked on a very small cluster of start that just so happened to form a perfect cube. I thought what the heck might be an easter egg or something.

Wish I could help others but I don't really know how it makes sense ... |

Wow, I had my secondary map up for almost five minutes at 9:30. I was able to confirm that my star-map-generator was correct, plus I now have one flash window open with the primary map, and one flash window open with the secondary map.
The way I caught it this time was, I just refreshed the ... |

You can grab all of the images (not overlaid) on my guide here:

The all-elusive second set of star_data shows up for only a small percentage of the time, so it seems. And even then the actual view from the telescope may change upon refreshing, or it may not. I don't know what it means but it is very frustrating either way.
Yes - now if I find a constellation ... |

Elric wrote: What's so special about the second set of stars? Is it drastically different?
Mine at first glance looked like it had just moved along the sky, yet on further inspection the stars didn't match up.
