I totally forgot that it was the new year until I got a voice message from my parents. :oops: But I did think of it a few days ago! My grandmother was born in the year of the pig, so this year, she's supposed to be extra lucky. :)

However, there's the problem of differences between dialects. Someone in Quebec who speaks French will be a little different (even in their writing) than someone from France or someone from a French-speaking country in Africa.

Apparently, Creole French spoken in the Caribbean don't conjugate ...
