Again, I ask why Applehat would lie. He had no reason to.

In fact... I'm more inclined to believe Applehat.

Eh...well, currently, though...the odds are in favor of the Applehat who would gain nothing since he's dead and so is his heir...If he was a baddie which no signs point to it, then he would most definitely be trying to get you killed but I don't think he's bad...from what he's described about his role
