Advice Needed

I've had a mega-huge crush on a girl at school(she was in my class last year) for over a year now...after I kept staring at her over and over, she noticed and would sometimes would come to where I was and stare at me but I was too shy to look directly into her eyes but sometimes it happened...but I would quickly turn my head away and do something....
We were both in the same class(we don't go to different classes for each subject) last year(9th grade) but we got separated in 10th grade(starting in May)...but she would still stare at me while I pretended to ignore her till July and then now, she completely ignores me every time I see her on the corridor....
I really LOVE her and don't know what to do...she's really pretty but I don't exactly like her for her looks but also because she's really smart, sweet, cute and all that stuff...*sigh* If only we weren't separated in 10th grade...
Well, what can you suggest? Also, this year(10th grade) is really important for me...the final exams(in April 2005) decide my future...maybe I should wait until the exams are over and I'm in 11th grade?
