I'm a real newbie at the restocking scene, and I'm wondering if there's a list out there of which shops in Neopia restock on the minute, and which ones restock late (and how much later they generally restock)?

This would help me a great deal in sitting down at my computer and actually trying my hand at RSing. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. ^^

sorry Ledi but i dont think there's any time list that tells you when the shops restock.

Sorry, we are sold out of everything! We get restock every eight minutes or so, so please come back soon.

and most of the time it is random so i guess you'll have to sit down with a cup of coffee and keep pressing the restock button.
:D

No, I don't mean times as in minutes...

Maybe I wasn't too clear...sorry...

I know that, in general, a shop restocks on the minute. (00 seconds). That's how I was able to get some medicine for my pet.

There is talk floating around mentioning "late" restocking shops, and that's what I'm asking about. Are there some shops that only restock on the 10 second etc mark?

I don't know of any list like that but I know the coin shop always restocks late, and the garage sale too. There are probably others though.

Thats because they restock in a seris, from number one, which is the food shop, to the last released shops, probably the brightvale ones. it only takes a few seconds though.

The ones that restock first are food, magic, and toy, in that order.

Generally all shops have restocked by 10 seconds after the minute.

Really, I didn't know that.. I just got back to restocking after a very long break, so that will help. :)

I can give you a general guideline: (this is on a regular restock, not a late one)

Shop Number 1-3 :00-:02
4-10, 15: :02-:04
12, 13, 14, 16: :04-:06
Thats pretty much all i know... when you get to the shops around 50-70.. It's 10-15 seconds.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

i think this reverting back to staggered restocking time is bad compared to restock happening all at once. this is because autobuyers get a greater chance to sweep up more item from different shops.

Well, they've always restocked in a particular order, even when the restocks occurred spread out in each shop over the course of forty seconds or so. It's simply a matter of the databases having to decide what to put in each shop, and they do it in numerical order because that's easiest.
