that doesn't make it offensive. what i was saying was that in the song, "shake it like a polaroid picture" is stated. and thats it. nothing more elaborate is added that makes it explicit. i think it means "dance", personally.

and for some reason, kidz bop covered it. even though there are worse lyrics in the song :P

Kidz bop covers some of the worse songs for them to cover. Ugh. Señorita, Come on Over Baby, My Immortal...songs with very mature undertones to them...but yet Kidz Bop still covers it. It makes me fear for the children that like to listen to them.

o_O i hope they at least change the lyrics in some cases, instead of just counting on it to go over a child's head

When trying to log in under the username "kristullize":

This account was found to be posting inappropriate messages (ie: bad language, insults, chain letters, etc.) on the message boards, guild boards, or other site areas.

So yeah, it would appear that she was frozen for posting "shake it like a polaroid picture" (always assuming that that was the only thing she posted that could be deemed inappropriate).

Now if they were to get mad at me for using the word crack so much, it'd be a different story. Provided the context of course...

Crack it like a polaroid picture, hopefully would be okay.

Ohhhh, that made me laugh so hard.

Ok I'm not real familiar with Outkast, but my argument still stands. If the site is going to have items called milkshake, then people shouldn't be frozen for typing the word shake. And shake something has been around long before Outkast. I can think of 2 songs that have the word shake in them off the top of my pointed head. Sure I could think of more if I tried. One of the songs is about, oh, 40 years old?

And I wasn't on the board so I don't know the context, but saying to someone shake it like a polaroid ... maybe she was giving advice to someone on something completely innocent? I can't assume that there was another meaning to it, because I wasn't there and I don't know the conversation.

The veiled profanity filter and monitors catching it - now that is a very good thing! I moderate on a different type of forum and yes, we do have filters. Yes, people do try to get around the filters using symbols and spaces. Doesn't fly with us and shouldn't fly anywhere that there are filters. If you have to use a symbol or a space to type a word, you pretty much know that it's not right.

for the kids bop topic, their music redos suck. and all these 'mature undertones' are well odd when these kid sing them o.O I like just about all music except for oldies and country, kids bop ruined it

as for the main topic, i hope your friend gets their account back IF that's what they posted, i agree and I personally think it means dance and they prolly didnt mean any sexual talk by it, even if it's implied in the song

Wow, I have a friend who's had that in her siggy for over a month. It just shows TNT's selectiveness. Good luck to her on getting the account back!

its truly sad isnt it

I know how it feels to have a best friend frozen....you feel lonely and sad hoping that they would remember your username....my friend runescapejunky666 was frozen and I just sat there stunned for at least 5 minutes thinking of the great times we had laughing and playing flash games together....*sigh* but of course he didnt remember my username and I never heard from him yes it was a him again..... :( then my other friend that I had always talked to was frozen just today......then again I was sad and lonely for 5 minutes....*cry* WHY!!?!! I kinda dont really like TNT because sometimes they take things too serious......same with those fellow newbies...they go around thinking its ok to report for no such reason....and they end up freezing at least 3-4 people in a week...now im not saying that they are dumb and a New Member im just saying that sometimes THEY take somethings to serious.............if you read this please PM me (private message in case you dont know what im talking about)
