Are secret lab maps...

normally 70k a piece, or just because it's war time? A year ago, they were about 25k~30k each.. o.O

People vary prices as the demand gets higher. Inflation also does it too.

That's what I mean, is it only this high because of the war's inflation on it or is it regularly this high? Should I buy now and not waste time, or wait for the war to be over?

They keep going up and up in price--as have most things. It really depends on the piece that you are looking for. Right now, most of the pieces are around 68K, but at least one is 92K!

I think the reason why the prices are so high is because we didn't have random events for about 3 weeks--and the map pieces are only given out via random events. Now that random events have started up again, the secret lab map pieces should drop a bit in price--but probably not down to the prices we saw last year.

EDIT: And, I really don't think the war had too much to do with the price increase--because they were about 57K (with two pieces about 72K) prior to the war.

The war wasn't what caused it to inflate.. It was the pwned avatar.

This is the price now, ever since the 'Pwned by the Lab' avatar came out. I remember when I could buy full lab maps for 100k. I had 3 before, but there all frozen/forgotten now. *sigh*

oh dear, i'm glad i have mine already! i think mine averaged around 8-12k a piece when i got them

They have went up from about 55K apiece, which was right before the war. They should go back down a bit afterwards, but they do continue to slowly inflate. I do not see them going below 52K. I got the lab map on my first account for less than 100k total when the individaul price was about 20K.

Yeah, I bought mine for about 350k, and that was right before the Pwned avatar came out. I was SO relieved that I bought it when I did.

I bought my lab map while the avatar was being released. At least it was still cheaper than what it is now!

It also depends which piece you're trying to buy. I got most of mine before the war for around 56k, except for piece number 4 (second row, left side). It ran more around 75k. I guess that one's just more rare or something. I do believe that it's cheaper to buy them separately than to get the whole thing from trades.

Another factor in the whole price issue is also the major lack of RE's that we had just recently.

But yes, I blame that Avatar. It could have been worse though.

I just got my avatar today. Someone can have it if they want.

(I know, I know, you can't transfer them like that) I don't collect avatars, but I got it today when my red aisha (that I adopted from the pound yesterday) turned into a yellow kau. No big loss though, so that's good.
