I don't even know if there's an answer to this one because the RE that gives out a paintbrush is so rare, but here goes:

I'm wanting an Island Paint Brush for my Yurble. So would I have a better chance of getting one by surfing around Mystery Island? Or do they just randomly hand them out all over the website?

I believe the RE that gives out paint brushes is not connected to any of the worlds.

The only world that is connected with a PB is Terror Mountain and the Christmas PB. Others are given out by Jacko the Painter RE and can be obtained everywhere. You are much more likely to get a PB from the Fruit Machine (play daily) .

You can also try earning a PB through the referal program. It's fun and rewarding!

Yup, its not world related. Jacko gve me a cloud pb when I am surfing the trading post and a shadpw pb when i m betting on the poogle racing.
