And I know what you mean about the evenings - I think my husband and I now understand how much time we really have, which is cool. I may eventually go back to doing the WCs, but it'll be a few days of lazing and catching up on housework first, probably.

I am so glad that the cup is finally over. I made it to level 5 and I didn't pick a new team for the finals. I'm interested in seeing what trophy I'll get, as I assume it won't be related to aany of the winners.

It is funny, the whole month of june my bank account was basically stagnant, and in the past 4 days I've added over 150k from playing games and restocking.

I discovered last year that you only get a trophy if you submit at least one score. (Last year, I couldn't earn a single point.)
But I am SO happy it's over. The AC is fun at first, but...graarrrrgh. It got so OLD in the second round robin!

I knew I should have hit that level instead of being stuck at 2 for days and days!

Quite a few people on the neoboards are reporting that their rank went up by one sometime this afternoon. Either TNT has found some of the missing games, or they adjusted their ranking formula to make it slightly easier to gain a rank.

Everyone's been moving up in rank? Hm. Maybe they did change it if not enough people got to the top rank or something? Redistributing the trophies, maybe? Meh. So long as I don't loose my All-Star rank, I don't really mind too much - though I guess if I wanted to be irritated, I could be since it's possible they're making it easier to get to where I did with a lot of work...but I don't want to waste energy being irritated, so yeah. I'll still have more points to spend in the end, which is good enough for me. I'll hafta check and see if any wins were added back in when I get home, and see what all happened.
On a side note, I hope they haven't re-adjusted the ranking system too much, because my husband really, REALLY didn't want the rank 18 shield - he hates the yellow stone, and wanted to keep the pretty green one. On the other hand, if they really messed with it a LOT, he wouldn't mind the rank 19 one...

Anyways. Has anyone else here had their rank go up? And if so, did the number of games they sent go up as well? Just curious...

None of my lost games have been restored, nor have I gone up a rank - but I timed it so I was just inside the rank boundary, so I wouldn't expect to.

Best guess, at the beginning of the tourney TNT had to guess at what the spread of scores would look like when they set the rank boundaries. Now that the playing is over, they have made some slight tweaks to even out the spread of ranks. If they are doing this now, the same day as the Cup finishes, I'm going to get up a tiny little bit of hope of the trophies and prizes being awarded this very day.

I'm getting itchy for the news now! REALLY itchy! Who won?! *fidgets*

That would make perfect sense. Really, and truly. If that's what's going on, kudos to TNT for being rational!

BOY am I itchy for the news. If I was at home and had Neo access, I'd be refreshing every 30 seconds on the news page. Wouldn't it be awesome if they did give out trophies and prizes today? That'd be two sets of prizes within a week...and both in relatively quick time after a plot/event is done!

My game numbers haven't changed, but my rank actually seems to have gone up by 2 levels. I was at 16 previously (just shy of 17, I think), and I'm now at 18. Looks like I reached the gold after all.

I started freaking out when yall mentioned that a lot of people's ranks were going up, I HATE the yellow stone! But I'm still green, yay

I'm level 9, with a 40hr/wk job and a social life, so I am proud of myself ^^ Well... then again, most of my YYB games were played at work

Final tallies:
YYB: 575 wins, 0 losses, 0 draws, 5,058 goals, average of about 8.8 goals per game
SS: 55
MSN: 250

I hope I have enough for something good. Last year's cup prizes are what bumped me into what I considered "rich" and gave me the motivation to keep earning.

I was rank 8 earlier today and got bumped into rank 9. Bronze shield is good I guess

And....my husband got bumped up from 10 points above what was the bottom of rank 17 to somewhere in rank 18. He made quite a very sad face about the Gold rank...with the ugly yellow stone. He was REALLY trying to avoid the yellow one...{sigh}. None of our points changed, so I guess they did change around how many points you needed for each rank. {shrugs} Oh well. I suppose it's a good thing if he's been granted the next rank? At least the yellow doesn't look as bad with the Gold as it did with the Bronze....
