Pink Poogle Toy Forum

I think I was invited to some AIM chat ( ) by one of my friends a few years ago, and all of the people there were members of PPT and kept talking about it, so I got curious and joined.

I originally used pinkpoogletoy.com for Faerie Crossword answers (when they were all in an alphabetical list, not in the form of a news post every day). Then I lost it for a while because the URL changed and I didn't know how to Google yet, and then I found it because of a classmate's away message.

Then at some point, Neoquest came out, and halfway through my second attempt at playing through, I found IDNQ (after finding my own way through the entire freaking Jungle Ruins, thank you), and then somehow an artificial mini-forum was evolved on the comments feature (with about five regulars and a few nomadic threads, as I recall), and then one of the others recommended me here and I signed up on April 5, 2003.

It's coming...

I had used the main site for Neopets info and guides and such for a while, but I finally registered with the forums on September 23rd, 2003. I was looking for help for the Mystery Island Mystery. I started posting in the plot threads and groups of us broke off into AIM plot chats. I remember Magenta was in mine and I was so proud to have made it into her chat because she was so well-known. lol Only so many could be in each chat because there was a maximum limit, so we relayed messages between several. We figured things out quickly and I ended up as #200something to solve the MIM from the teamwork. It was so fun and the people were so great, I decided to stick around.

In fact, Alex was one of the very first people I talked to back then. She messaged me on MSN and here we are, 4 1/2 years later, still good friends.

Right from the beginning, I held my giveaways. lol I remember a couple months after I joined, someone tried to impersonate me on MSN and scam people. D: hamstershredder, iconoplast, and I posted up and warned people, though. We were quite the trio back then. Actually, icono joined one hour after me. It was funny because she's in the next timezone over, so on her computer it said we joined the same day, but on mine it said she was one day later.

DUDE. Now that you've posted that, I remember that's what happened to me as well. I used pinkpoogletoy.com for something - possibly Poogle Solitaire, then that URL died. A while later I found pinkpt.com, haha.

I was dragged into it. Twizz was in one of those exciting ww games and they needed more players. Well of course I didn't wan't to miss out on all the fun so here I am. I've enjpyed it ever since.

I REMEMBER THAT! Magenta set up a quick board somewhere (forgot what the website was called) so that we could work on the plot in secret. I don't think I did AIM chats though. I finished number 70-something in the MIM, and I still have the Fruit Bomb and avatars

I joined soon after the first Meridell war, but it took a while for me to really get into things. After a while, I lost interest, and I think it was around that time when the boards crashed and I just stopped playing Neopets for a couple of years. I started playing again a few years ago.

Oh lord I dont even remember when I registered...or what year for that matter...Though I think I was a high school freshmen so it was like 1999-2000? Maybe? I know I've been playing neopets since 1997 though.
