okay im into paranormal stuff like ghosts and aliens. i do studies on them and things like that. today while on a website with ghost videos, i saw a comment on the spam page which was unusual. it read the following:
people who believe in ghosts and paranormal objects are crazy and have to creative of minds. i say that they all go to mental hospitals and get it together. learn that ghosts and paranormal things do not exist!
i believe in them strongly. anyone else out there think that im just a wacko or believe in them too?

I would say that I'm not whacko and have seen them, but I am patently a bit nuts.

Been seeing/feeling them since I was small, so yes. I thought I was schizo until various circumstances "proved" it to me. You know, sensing something in a friend's house only to have it confirmed by actual facts, having other people who could see describe who/what I was seeing despite the fact that I hadn't said anything, etc.

I don't blame people who don't believe in it. I don't think I would if I didn't have to put up with it all the time. I'd gladly join them in disbelief as I'm not one of those people who regards it as a gift. It's alternately creepy and bothersome. If it's a gift, it's crappier than the annual dollar store Beanie Baby I receive from my Titi Blanca.

I'm what they call a sensitive. Sometimes I do see them, sometimes I can talk to them, and 99.9% of the time I can feel them. I can pick up on mood energies (weither its a happy spirit or an aggressive one). I have a harder time picking up on animals and have the easiest time with children and women (mostly likely due to strong emotional presances). I've been this way most of my life.

I just wish I was able to see and communicate with them more like mediums do. At most I can get a remotely clear version of the person in my head and maybe why they're here. but thats about it.

But I definately envy strong clairvoyants and mediums!

I'm not a "sensitive" and I've never seen one, but I believe they do exist on some level.

I believe in ghosts and aliens. Most of the ocean hasn't even been explored and we only know 1% of what is in the universe because like the other 99% is dark matter and we don't even have a clue what that is. I mean, just think, everything we know up to this point is only 1% of what can be known!

Every day we learn something new and as our technologies evolve so does our ability to look at things in new ways and ask new questions. Some things that used to be true become false, books are rewritten, and rewritten again. Everything we know can be turned upside down just by a bit of new information or a new technology, the discovery of a new species, etc.

Who knows what might happen just a few days or hours from now? The phoenix rover touched down on mars and who knows what they will find?

I wouldn't count on aliens, you can't get very far very quickly when the very nature of reality restricts you to sub light speeds, even in a galaxy a "paltry" 100,000 LY across.

well my sister died when i was small so ive basically believed in them, seen them, felt them, and lived around them my whole life. my parents are non-believers i think, but they respect my studies and my stories of them deeply. i guess that it kind of hurts when someone calls you weird for your beliefs and i jst wanted to know how many people are with me. thanks for the replies.

Until a controlled scientific environment demonstrates phenomeno not explainable by any scientific means whatsoever, I'm not going to be inclined to believe in anything of the sort. And that sort of proof is basically impossible to produce, since there's always the possibility of some principle we don't yet understand.

Conversely, I'll believe until the answer is proven to be, definitively, "no." Just all in the way you look at it, I guess.

I've had too many things happen for them to be purely coincidental, so I believe in paranormal/ghosts. As for aliens...I think, statistically, there has to be "something" out there, even if it is as small as a single cell.

But for aliens, I do believe we aren't the only ones living. And not some humanoid green things, I'd be satisfied with a single celled organism or two.
