Got some battles in today.

Ditto! It's a little easier after maxing out the strength boost, but not quiiite enough to only use a single weapon if the dice roll is low for damage done.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I should just go buy a g-bomb (if that would do it... Would need to check first) on the next discount day, but meh. I'm too lazy. I would have to look up the weapon's minimum damage, calculate the boost, look up the HP of the opponents, compare, look up when discount day is, put it on my calendar, and then actually remember to go buy it... and then I'd have to decide which item to remove from my set to make room for the bomb. Way too much work!

LOL. The g-bomb is usually my first go-to. The V-bomb is #2, which I think is a little more consistent than the g-bomb, but the g-bomb usually goes higher. With my current stats, the g-bomb alone is typically over 450, but can dip to at least 429. Very unscientific study

If you have Grapes of Wrath (consistent solid 24-icon weapon) and max strength boost (850+), you should do 432 damage in one shot (when paired with lens flare or warlock's rage), which is enough to beat any of the highest enemies on medium as they have 338 HP (which sores the most points - hard scores least, because of a coding bug).
Varia is the Bomb (25-icon bomb) with the max strength boost will also do it in one it, as will Ghostkerbomb or Wand of the Dark Faerie, even with their minimal hits.
