I had this idea a while back, but I'd like to resurrect it now that clothing items are possible. I'd like to see each pet species drop a certain item. Like some pets would randomly drop a tooth. Some would drop a feather or some hair or a scale. For example, I could trade you a krawk scale for a rainbow pteri feather. Each of these little items could be collected and you could make charms and decorate clothing with it. There could be several recipes. For example, you could buy a plain hat, then add a white pteri feather to it. Or you could buy a necklace and add a krawk tooth to it or something. Or you could just collect a lot of tufts of gnorbu hair and weave a sweater.
Buzzes could molt randomly and drop shells or bits of wing or something. Each of these shed parts could be collected to make things from clothings to potion ingredients!

I'd also love to see kits where you could make clothing. I think there are some knitting sets already, which they could make useable. So you could play with it to knit a sweater and then you could have your pet wear it.

I really love that idea. I assume you've sent it to TNT?

Your skill in Taxidermy has gone up (144)!

Well, I missed out on the beta, but if they are going to cutesy up my mutant scorchio like the examples I've seen, I'm going to blast him into dust with the lab ray! I didn't mutate him years ago to have him look cute...he's supposed to look deranged.

On a side note, I like the idea of adding clothes. I've always thought having them and not being able to use them was lame as all get out.

I hope the changes are optional.

Anyone else notice that all the "fierce" looking pets have been "cutsey-fied"?

Ugh!

...Though, you should realize that bad examples are more likely to have been posted than good ones.

On a note totally unrelated to how ugly most of my pets are now:

Are there any clothes that are actually wearable?

I don't think so, but I did notice in the quickstock page they added the option of putting it in a wardrobe. It'll be soon I guess.

lol, Chris! It almost makes me wish that I had a robot Neopet, just to do that.

It kind of disappointed me that you could only use a colored background on one of the pets -- three of my pets look pretty good with the blue background. =/ Ah well. I shall live, I suppose!

I was about to say that I can't believe "Whack a Staff Member" has only received 5000 plays today.

But then I read on to where they said to wait till next week before making any final decisions, so we'll wait and see. I defended them when customization first came out in beta. I better not have been wrong!
