Congrats all on great Staff Tourney scores! I'm saving mine for now, but I did splurge on a couple of mugs that were in the SW. I may have overpaid, or made a great investment. They were cheap considering they were brand-new mugs released into the wild and they were the top prize... One's in my mug gallery and the other is equipped on my pet. It's animated :)

ETA: I would love one of those mugs at work!

Now, to wait until prices settle to use the points. :)

ETA: Only have 1 more full day of maxing out (at which point I'll be an irritating 20 SOSDs away from All-Star). So totally ready to be done with this.
Can you play 2 games of YYB? 4 games of SS? 20 games of MSN? You're *so* close!

I could...but I'm determined to do it in only SOSD. I've not played any of the other games this year. I'll finish tomorrow, assuming I can get in enough games today.

ETA: Also, what happened!? All the sudden we went from 4th in our bracket to 2nd!

Oh, I misread that and thought you'd be like 20 games shy by the end of the Cup. Of course, keep doing what you're doing if you'll make it by the end. Congrats!

There've been allegations that small cheating groups have been randomly messing with various teams' scores to throw chaos into the mix. If TNT cracked down on the cheating, then we'd know that teams' jumps were due to their legitimate effort.

Go Blue! I've plateaued; I'm still Rank 4 and still quite a ways from Rank 5, partially due to real life starting to happen (it's summer, there are parties and the litter of baby bunnies I rescued and my two weeks in Korea are coming up in less than a month...) and partially because I got tired of the cup games and really into Pakiko.

DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE!

So totally done.

Yep.

(I still can't believe I was crazy enough to try for All-Star this year. I think about a week ago I realized it was probably not the best decision I've made, but I wasn't about to give up at that point.)

I finished at Rank 4. I probably *could* have made it to rank five, but that would have required me to be less fatigued by the whole thing than I ended up being.

Prize shop is open! Rooligans came in with a 3-way tie for 13th, go figure. Ah well.

Happy with my trophy, though! Image
Not gonna lie, don't mind the fact that it's gold, at all. ;)

Everyone gets a free Dyeworks Hue Brew Potion (which is a new awesome NC Item they've recently come up with - lets you duplicate certain NC items into a random other color - check out JN's Guide).

Now, to sit on my points until close to the next AC.

33,095 points. I wish I'd paid attention and gotten 5 more points... Ah, well. I can afford the most expensive prize with room to spare -- though like Pickles, I'll be waiting for prizes to settle before purchasing (though I may buy some books or whatever before they inflate too much).

How do you claim the Dyeworks potion? I can't find a spot for it.

Other than being sad that I can't get a stamp with my prize points, I'm fine with my low scores-- the book and the stamp were the only two I had any real interest in, since I'm not patient enough to resell things. (I'm rapidly losing patience trying to sell my pinchit, for example.)

I'm content with my trophy, too:

It matches the color of my past 2 years' trophies :P

It should be the first thing in the top left? (to the left of the Yooyu Lapel Pin).

ETA 5/9: Neopets News yesterday indicated that ACX was coming soon. Please remember to redeem your prize points if you haven't already!

Prize shop
Staff Prize Shop

...I've got 16k prize points in the regular shop, and 20k+ in the Staff shop. I need to figure out how I'm going to spend those, and fast.
