Guys your time/places don't even make sense. If you view the grid there are six x's. hmmm could those be the times. the vertical is the letters and horizontal is the numbers. So if you geuss six it would be I22 5 would be G19 and so on. Thought I would point this out.

I know we're restricted to those four characters to guess between but I can't seem to let go of the thought that the Captain had something to do with this.

1. What Captain can't even remember every member in their small crew of eight people?

2. Why does he belive us when we say that we know where Hoban is? He of anyone should know that there are currents that could have taken Hoban away from the nearest islands where he fell off.

3. This is the part I find most interesting of them all.
What Captain waits for 70 million neopians to give them their guesses?
How the heck does he have the time to compare each answer, and remember the face of each and everyone, so that you can't change your guess even if it would help finding Hoban?

I don't know, there's just something about that guy that isn't right..

I have only recently found out about the grid and because of the red X's probably relating the hours, I would have to agree - 5 hours would be G19 and 6 hours I22.

The dilemma I face is, I had worked out 6.00 before checking the map. Now I look at the map, I believe he was pushed at 5.00 but then it puts out my answer for who pushed Hoban.

I want it to be Bonju but I don't think it can be him if Hoban was pushed overboard at 5.00. <----- This is me on the floor in a gibbering mess!!
