I LOVE neopets, but I wish they didn't have to worry about offending anybody and be more carefree like they used to be ... but they are more world wide and more accountable to millions of over-reacting parents and illogical crumuffins complaining about magic being evil, fun games are gambling, and Bugs Bunny style actions arefelonies. It's hard to find the darker (and more realistic) side of neopia now.

The "demon" aisha is from the Dr. Sloth plot (the first-ever neopets plot). It was one of his creations, but only mentioned/shown in a "newsflash" about some pets who just spotted mutants.

If I remember correctly, that 'newsflash' also had a very nice looking Mutant Lupe in it.

Though really, I still love that first plot. It was so much more involved, with the pets becoming mutants and this and that... it was dark.

And wow, I forgot about all of this stuff. o.o';;; It's been so long, I totally forgot about the telepathy Aishas had.

Does anyone have the link to those plot pages? I'd like to see them. They look interesting, but I forgot what they were all about. I'd also like to see a solution to the Mystery Island plot, if anyone can find it.

does anyone remember years ago when neopets first arrived I believe, that we used to have a fair or theme park or something to work on ? You could buy rides and stuff and then charge people money to see it. Everyone I talk to says I'm crazy !! but I swear it happened (I hope so or I guess I am losing it !!)

It happened, but it was completely pointless. As I recall, it was like a shop in that you could expand it and other players could make use of it, but you'd set a price to enter the "rides" and their effect was no different from using a toy on the pet. Nobody actually went to them.

It was also another nifty way to get a trophy. If your friends don't believe you, keep searching for someone with one. I know I've come across a user with a third place trophy in Theme Parks not too long ago.

I totally remember theme parks! Some people still have trophies. I signed up in 2001 which I think was the last year of the theme parks. Not longer after I signed up (July 31st 2001 to be exact!) they were taken off the site.
