I'm feeling you on this, definitely. Even the amount of time spent in berserk mode has changed to the lower - and the number of petpets that fly across during berserk mode has gone down as well.
I've been watching the WC for it though - yesterday, people were sending lots of scores in the high 3000s, low 4000s. Now, the highest I've seen is around 2500. Not many people are playing it now though, so hopefully it'll disappear from the WC and be replaced with something that's more popular.
I'm happy though, I've managed to pull back up to over 1200 - though yesterday I was getting 2600s. Oh well. If they meant to make it harder to get to the 1k mark, they did. I just wish they'd reset the high score tables when they change the structure of a game, cause I think 20,000 is now pretty much impossible with the new time restraints. Now the people who did that well prior to the change are pretty much guaranteed the trophy until May. I'm not saying they don't deserve it, just that now it's been made virtually impossible to unseat them this month (not that I had a shot at that anyways, but it's the concept that bothers me).
