April 27 News - New Site Layout (Revamp to 1024x768)

Wow. I've been playing since 1999, and this is the biggest layout change I've ever seen; the yellow sidebar is burned in my brain. I think that this is just one of those things I'm going to despise for a week then love once I get used to it.

That's definitly a big change! I can't find anything anymore, lol

. It will sure take a while to get used to, but I do like it! It works a lot better then the old layout did.

One big fault though. My user lookup and gallery are COMPLETELY RUINED :cry:

I have to start all over again....

Also, have people find a new way to block ads on IE?

ARRRRGGGHHHH! Too much unwanted, useless junk and clutter! I don't mind change but it's absolutely ruined because of the stupid hassle of having to side-scroll across every blasted page. Really, really awful and annoying. I tried resetting the resolution and the whole page was visible but the print was too small for my old eyes.

I just noticed something: even though the lab ray just turned my neopet into another species and colour of pets ...the picture is still the same. I wonder how long it's going to take to change. :roll:

And plus, my Grey Krawk's picture won't show up. Sure hope they're not revamping them or something ...

Clunkiest. Layout. Ever.
That's all I have to say.

EDIT - On the Altador Cup layout, you can barely see how many NP you have.
They BETTER make it optional that you can go back to the old school layout. I hate it.

I am even more upset. All of the coding for my petpages, shop, userlookup, and galleries is gone. Does this mean that we can no longer put backgrounds on our pages?

I suggest everyone that hates it as much as me TRY to take a day off from Neopets, and let your lack of page visits be known!

I am actually in fear of refreshing any other page now, and taking screenies of 'how it used to be'. How sad is that. Too much Flash!

I dont know about this it seems interesting though. Most likely in the end I will like the new site... HOWEVER the revamp of some of the pets is just NOT what i want to see.... I want them to give the option of showing your pet as it is for custimization or as it is normaly.... My scorchio makes me sad and my Zaffara I just cant decide... the Draik makeover seems okay more just a different pose and the Eyrie seems just a little bit different too but I dont know I see angry neomails to the neo staff

Yup - hate it. I just came back to neo a couple days ago and this is mind blowingly bad news.

Big, bulky, un-user friendly. More options? Maybe, but i just want to have 3 windows open for stocking and stuff.

My robot Kougra is now all roundish and I dont know if i'll ever see him again the way hes been for the last few years. Some advanced warning would have been nice, like, "Next month we'll be completely changing how you navigate the site as well as redesigning all the pets so you can play dress up!"

Hm.. interesting.
I don't have a huge problem with it. It'll take some getting used to.

The only thing that bugs me is the user lookups.. mine looks like poo now, and you can't see all my trophies, because the page doesn't scroll all the way down!

It's all too confusing and cluttered, and while I do understand that this is fairly NEW, it's just, ick.

They totally destroyed user lookups. The pet lookups I don't mind that much, but ughh, poor user profiles.

And I'll bet no one else noticed the new game. >_>

Good grief. The new layout... is bleh. I mean, really. The previous one had a certain style - you may have liked it or not, but it was there. It was neopetsy (neopetesque? oh, you know what I mean...)
Now, for me it's devoid of any style. Really, it feels like I'm browsing yahoo...

i got a bunch of people cancnelling their premium over it that were friends of mine. They dont like finding the pets they've had been changed so much. I've been a member for over 6 years and had the same pets the whole time, having them this changed kinda is like they took my pets aaway and put new ones there. and found a mistake. i had 3 female pets and one male now they are all female
