I was so happy to see a thread for this show because I love it. I would totally marry it!

The first time that we saw the "squiggly line" thing was in the computer program that Mohinder's dad created to find heroes. Mohinder said the program didn't work... But my point is that maybe his dad was working with Clair's father in someway. First we see it in the program and then on HRG's henchman. I am not sure yet where "Jessica" fits into that scenario though. Also we found out that sweet little neighbor girl (forgot her name) works with HRG guy. Was she sent to trick Mohinder into believing she was close with his father or was she really? I am leaning towards they may have all worked together at one point and had a falling out about something that resulted in Surech's "death".

Wow that is a lot of words. I hope it is able to be understood.

I was watching the replay last night and one little editting/cinematography note stood way out for the whole episode: The Nikki/Jessica scene... that struck me as a lesser recreation of the 'good' Gollum vs 'bad' Gollum scene in Lord of the Rings. Personally, I like the Gollum scene better because it is hard to go wrong with Tolkien, but the Heros version was just as fun. As another little side note: I think the producers may have used that scene as a jab at the old method of creating a twin for a person who isn't one by having Nikki next to the mirror. I just thought that was a cute little nod to old school production methods.
