I am zapping petpets (although I don't post here) but I still enjoy my petpet being zapped into a pile of soot. It had been zapped into soot for like half a dozen times and I still love the soot!

Ah then, I am glad for you - and I'm not being sarcastic. Pretty much anyone else I've spoken to or read are finding it frustrating that there are not enough species changes (and the soot is the 'species' we see the most, therefore we tire of it quickest). It *is* cute. We (or at least I) just want to see something else from time to time :)

Actually, I don't really mind ANY species change; I only get frustrated when the ray goes zzzrrrpppttt and level change (up or down). Which means, I only care about appearance. :P
