I'm getting very bored of loosing, I doubt I've even racked up 50 battles but I just can't be bothered... I'll stock up on healing potions and have another go at lunch time if I feel like it.

I'm sure I'll just miss getting a fabulous prize, by 1 battle or so, but I'll keep banging my pets' heads against the wall. Valiant critters they are, though, never complain, always glad to see me.

Bah, my strongest pet just scored 0 against him (hate it when he heals all damage!). It's almost down to 118,000.

If you're scoring 0 damage try buying a cheap reflector.

My general plan is to use the ability "drain life" which gets through the Thyora's tear. Excellent.

Yes I'm battling again, people are giving away free potion sets or discounted priced trades for battlers so it's making this whole experience cheaper and less annoying... that being said I've still only racked up about 40 battles.

I just don't have the patience.

Oh, I haven't been worried about the times when he ends up with 0 damage, because I assumed that Mayor Thumbert's HP dropped 1 point for every battle, not for every point of damage he took. There are some very powerful pets out there who could finish him off in fewer than 1000 turns, if it were just a case of maximizing the damage he takes during a battle.
