Bummer, Blue! Definitely submit a ticket about it. Hopefully you can find a browser that's more cooperative with it until JS fixes it.

Good idea. Other Captchas work fine in Opera 12.X. Other sites work fine as well. I did dig a little to find the site that Google uses to serve that specific captcha and manually installed the SLL certificate into my Opera 12.X. That was the trick to get JN to work again after they upgraded their certificates... Sigh. I know this browser is old, but it is my "dedicated Neopets" browser, isolated from the rest of the world...

Today is a *3rd* bye day in a row?! What?! I was counting on finals being all 5 days this week. If it's truly only 4, I'm going to be stuck playing more that I planned of games besides SOSD. I worked my tail off Thurs/Fri to make sure all I had to do was max on SOSD and play 5 games of SS a day for each day this week. Ugh. Maybe I'll just forget trying for All-Star this year, and settle for where I'm at at Rank 16.

Hopefully TNT will clarify, because the FAQ clearly said there would only be a 2-day break in between rounds, and now it's been 3...sigh.

Yes, but the news and NT both said play would resume on the 26th. Maybe JS needed an extra day to fix the cheater-Captcha system. I'm assuming the finals will still be 3 brackets of 6 teams, so we should still have 5 days left of play, but now it's really confusing. Or maybe they have something completely different planned... No idea what, though!

Well, according to TNT's Twitter, the Cup is now ending Saturday, so there are still 5 days left. It stinks for those who planned their vacations etc. to start after the Cup ended, but if JS used this extra bye day to fully address the cheating while minimizing the impact on regular users, then I'm okay with that.

I had a perfect round - best team + correct star player (second time in a row, woot!). Going to keep my team for the final round. It was a coin flip for star player. I also went with Agog, but I might change it to Senor Malo as a nod to old TNT. But Agog has made a comeback into the top 5 after getting knocked out... The winner might be "most improved," and Malo would definitely be out for that one - his scores are going the wrong way! Could the star player be someone not on the best team? Agog's scores have only gone up slightly, and I bet some of the worse players made bigger improvements.

Anyway, I at least remembered to keep my team and choose a star player.

I'm rank 18 now. I should hit rank 19 shortly into my plays tomorrow, and All-Star on Saturday. I wouldn't have made it if I hadn't done some extra playing late last week. I missed too many days at the start to do it just on SOSD this year.

ETA: Hit rank 19 today, as planned. 423 points from hitting All-Star. Should be no problem tomorrow. whew.

Just finished rounding up my game numbers and the end of my AC. Finished on All-Star (24)

After reaching All-Star earlier than I normally do, I was going for Level 25 (going by petpage calculator: absolutecorruption), and getting my YYB wins to 500 but just left the run a little late.

I played SS and MSN before the captchas came in, so luckily I had rounded them off earlier and didn't have to play any of those.

Nice, Daze. I made it to rank 23, I guess (just over 11,600 points). I tried for a triple-max of MSN/YYB/SOSD yesterday but fell 8 MSN short (and a heartbreaking 1 game shy of my 2M MSN point goal - heartbreaking because I had exactly 1 MSN score that failed to send due to server error, and that score was just enough to put me over). My team traded first in bracket with TY a few times yesterday, and we beat them by 5 points yesterday, but they had crushed us the day before, so we have no idea how the Cup will end. If it's like last year, I think TY will take home the Cup, and deservedly so, but we can hold our heads high knowing it was a well-fought battle.
