I only have three pets on my account, and I had to use them all today for the plot (2x volunteer, 1x BD). I'm a little worried they'll add another slot, so I'd like to have a fourth pet ready just in case. Let me know if you have anyone you'd like to send back to the pound that I could adopt instead.

I don't really care what they look like (because I can always change that), but names matter to me. I prefer no numbers and something that looks vaguely Celtic, if possible, or at least like a real name. Please, nothing with "slippy" in the name, but obviously I'm not super choosy. I just know if it's not well named, I won't get attached, and I'd feel a little bad using a pet just for the plot to then send it back to the pound.

But if I have to, I will!

It looks like the next two acts have 4 volunteer slots each.

I'll keep an eye for some Celtic pets. Slippy?

Yeah, all the "S" names started with "Slippy." Like "Slippylizardguts" (but not actually that cool).

Hmm. I wonder how many pets I can fit on this account. But... Where did you see four slots? I'm only seeing two each...

I saw several "Rockys" e.g., RockyRockyRocky and RockyRock5943... I generally prefer no numbers in a pet's name. Also avoid names like RockyRockyRocky

I clicked on the Act 2 "down arrow" on the hospital volunteer page. It is locked and greyed out, but I can see four boxes where pets might be helping.

Thanks, Pickles! Blue hooked me up with a WNP yesterday. I can only see two slots in the same place on mobile, Blue. Very weird! If we do have four, I guess I'll need 5 pets on the account (one for battling and 4 for volunteering).

I think I'll wait a bit and try to snag one from the pound. The Faerie Hissi is pretty, but I won't appreciate her as well as many others might, and it looks like I have some time before I need it.

Interesting. I generally use desktop view on Mobile and I can see 4. Switching to Mobile view, I can see only two.

New labbie lasted all of one zap...

... and she changes colour to Tyrannian!!

I hate pounding her because she'll lose the clothing items, though...hm.

ETA: While I dislike what species she changed to...

... and she changes colour to Ice!!

It's still a cool color for that species and a bit ironic with the name, so...to the pound with her!

Mine just turned into a Lutari. Since you cannot abandon Lutari, either I need to morph into a different species or wait for the lab to change species again. Thoughts?

Well, you CAN abandon a Lutari, but it will run away again, making the pet basically POOF! but not freeing the name back up. So...not the best idea. Especially since the name is semi-decent.

I was going to continue labbing one way or the other, just debating going ahead and changing to a species that I can abandon in case there's a good zap.


ETA: I zapped.

... and he changes colour to Darigan!!

And I still can't pound him. Darigan Lutari's are hilarious, though. The little wings... :lol:
