I really, really, hate cursive. My brain doesn't like it, and even when I'm writing in cursive, I keep accidently trying to switch to print mid-word. It's annoying.
I've managed to avoid using cursive much ever since they stopped forcing us to in school (in 5th and 6th grade they wouldn't allow us to print, telling us we would have to use cursive a lot in middle school, so we'd better get used to it. So we got to middle school, and the teachers didn't care how we wrote, as long as it was readable.
I have a tendancy to randomly insert capital letters into the middle of words, it just happens. Especially with 'N's and 'E's.
Also, I have a real obsession with the capital letter 'L' in cursive. As you can see from the bottom of the page. They're so loopy and fun to write. Once, I absentmindedly filled an entire piece of paper with them while I was on the phone.

Today one of my teachers said to me: "that's got to be the worst handwriting I've ever seen" It was sad, but I love my hadwriting so much that it won't be changed.

Well, I don't have access to a scanner to write in the format (I might try that some other time though, if I can), but you can see a sample of my writing on the Pink Ink staff graphic. XP In my sig, too, but that text was more drawn than written.



Problem is- it's mouse writing. Not only that, but I'm lefty, and I use my right hand for the mouse. I have yet to train my right hand to write, and my left hand to use the mouse or chopsticks... I want to be fully ambidextrous someday. :P

Although my writing isn't always exactly consistant it's generally very close to that. Except when I'm in a hurry then I only half draw the letters and they all collide into one another and I forget whole letters... but I'm usually not that bad.
