If my pet has these stats
Lvl : 21
Str : 40
Def : 40
Mov : 30
Hp : 40 / 40

Would it be possible for me to beat the 2nd tree?

How many hitpoints does the 30 hp tree take off per round?

I'm in a fight with the savage sycamore... he's down to 3 hp... I get the white screen, hit refresh... and the next screen says "Black Elm has defeated you!" (yes, Black Elm)... AAAAARRRGHHH!!! Phooey on trees! Somebody hand me a chainsaw and weedkiller!

@Butterflyhornet: depends on your weapons and abilities; my stats are pretty close to yours and the 2nd tree went down in 2 rounds. The 3rd tree is murder though. Him and the laaaaaggggg.

I'm using the standard leaf shield and scarab ring.

I was hoping I could at least get 200 total battles with my pet, but seeing I just had to withdraw from "waiting for neopets" on my browser, I don't think I'll get there.

Well at least I knocked the elm 3 times. I guess that's all I can expect. Meanwhile I think I'll train my pet some.

any solutions for withdrawing when the status page doesn't load and your pet is in the neolodge?

I can't see the status page. I'll try the equipment page.

WELL, you've got more defense than I do, so you can expect around 20-30 damage if you just fierce attack with weapons. Of course, I have about 200 more hp than you do so I CAN just fierce attack with weapons and get away with it. It definitely does come down to the weapons you use. These trees have a lot of earth icons in their attacks, so a Leaf Shield (or whatever blocks earth) would be a good weapon to use. But yes, you could definitely take out the 2nd trees if you wanted to. =P

That's if I can withdraw from the elm that I got hung on.

I'm screwed.

This is ridiculous. It's 3:30 AM EST and there is STILL so much lag. In four hours, I only managed 8 battles.

If I do get into the BD, chances are, the page timed out, or I get an error.

I'm just working on elm right now. Guaranteed KO.

:/ to bad the BD is so slow. I'm glad I fought each stone at least once, but I'm worried about the trees. I tried one just now but got a can not load page. Going back resulted in not being able to continue to fight. It kept saying that I didn't have any of the items I tried using.

I managed to beat each of the trees once. It took for freaking ever though. I'm not even gonna try any more battles for a while. The lag is just...too much.

i'm trying to beat the trees, but its not working. as its so laggy its kicking me out of the fight, but then not actually kicking me out so i have to make myself leave the fight and then try again. its really annoying!

I can't seem to fight AT ALL now. I hope tnt is going to give us a bit longer for this wave so everyone has a chance to max them out. I probably won't be able to do any battling in the weekend with this lag. Everytime my pages takes longer then a minute to load, I get a white page.

I have to say, I'm a bit dissapointed. I don't mind a lag, but I can't battle at all now. I know tnt is trying to make it go as fast as possible though. I liked the idea someone posted here of dividing us up into groups and letting us fight at certain times, like group A can fight from 9.00 to 9.10 and group B from 9.10 to 9.20. Maybe something like that would fix the problem?

i'm not getting any battles done in this morning, i'm in one now but can't get it finished, just sits there, goes to a white screen, I go back, refreash, click go again. This worked sometimes with the stones, but i'm getting no where with the trees.

Got 2 trees yesterday, took an hour

using firefox.

Tryed IE, not any better.

Maybe once weaker pets get some wins and the trees get too big for there pets, it will be better, we'll see latter today??
