Again, I, at least, was hoping it would be a form of involved puzzle game which taught your pet things, or that you'd have to figure out a puzzle to get clues as to which school item you needed to do something in the school. Or maybe you could use different school items to get hints in the puzzle you're working on. Something like that. And I know that's the sort of activity I'd enjoy, so that's why I was looking forward to it. (And aside from that, I stockpiled some school items that I'd restocked in September, and I'd like to see them go up in value.)
Besides, if they did it as a puzzle game like that, they could market it as being educational/promoting school, and the parents would love it... and making parents happy is always a good marketing move.
