I love star wars! It's like the greatest! Star Trek is just weird and it's like the cheaper version.

star trek might be more original and more expanded, but i can't stand watching low-budget special effects :D

star wars better :)

und i believe that Episode III will go back to the roots of star wars :D

Trek pwns starwars anyday.

First, simply by ammount of stuff. There are what, 6 star wars moives? Theres 10 trek moives, and 28 seasons of trek, each with around 25 hour long episodes. Simply be sheer size trek wins there.

Secondly, many aspects of trek could theortyically be obtained in the future. Most of star wars is impossible. Hence trek is cooler because its a possible(though very doubtful) glimsp of what the future might hold.

Since I'm not a huge fan of either (I was forced to watch both of them as a child), I will say that they are both equal, but only the old school Star Wars. The news stuff just doesn't interest me at all and there are some major inconsistancies which I hope they tend to with this last movie, if they don't, they've made some major mistakes. Anyway:

Old School Star Wars = Star Trek > Star Wars Episode #

everyone knows that the Achilles class line-breaker could so PWN anything the star-wars universe has ever come up with.

the Achilles has twelve (count em, twelve!) rapid-firing torpedoe tubes along its spine, with a further three in the front and on more in the aft.
slap some Transphasic torpedoes (failing that, Tricolbite super-heavy explosives) in them and youve got yourself one dead Death star.

oh... not that kind of Star trek VS star wars eh?

fine.

trek still wins, because im sick of Jedi.
give me a dominion war fleet, a species 8472 incurssion or a borg cube getting blown up by the 5th fleet anyday.

the imperium of warhammer beats startrek though.


Edit: cos i mixed the Akira up with the Achilles.

Definitely Star Wars. Sure beats cheesy old Star Trek. Though I must admit some of the original episodes of Star Trek come pretty close.
