Okay, what if you suffer some sort of puncture wound and air just happens to pass through your lung? Can we still get prizes?

Depends, what punctured where ?? For example, if a African-made spear punctured your lung, then no. However, if a European spear punctured your lung, then yes.

It's all relative you see...

Here's a thought that may explain the long wait for prizes... maybe TNT has slowed growth of the neopian economy for the last couple of months so that the MASSIVE prizes we get won't cause runaway inflation? Am I grasping at straws, or is anoxia from holding my breath finally taking it's toll?

It's both, labrat. It's both :P My solution, at least to the breathing problem, is LOX. It gets around TDG's strick rules and makes food take funny.

I think one of the possible real reasons behind the delay in prizes is all the snafus that have been happening of late. I hope both the trouble and prizes will be fixed soon. I would hate to see TNT suffer from all these experiences.

I think one major problem with the plot prizes has been the score system. Obviously they're attempting to work it so roughly x amount of people get good prizes and y amount don't. However, unlike wars where it's black and white "You beat the challenger or you didn't", its more of a "do they deserve to score for this section".

Again, unlike wars, you can't sit down, plan the plot and then assign numerical values to how many points each section is worth. You have to do that in hindsight, looking at how many people completed what and then assigning point values to that. It all takes time and there's no point pretending last week's fiasco didn't slow things down in terms of programming...

*sigh* Not enough people held their breath and the prizes were ignored as a result. Now, all together, let's hold our breaths till Monday

I'll admit it. I was being greedy with the O2 and didn't bother holding my breath for more than 19 sec at a time. Please forgive me...

Anyhoo, I really do hope the prizes come out Monday--that'll be the official 5-month mark from the day the plot originally started!! :o Kah-raziness

Very soon!

Another good sign: If you check out your userlookup, you can see that the Curse of Maraqua war trophy has been moved down onto a new line -- looks like our LDP trophies will be going on that line too. With that and the sidebar and the plushies showing up on the servers, it looks like they're getting ready to give everything out any time now!
