They didn't say either way -- just stated it as fact.

Well, I've mapped most of mine now, up to 72 rooms (though I'm still missing a library door). I've noticed a couple things about it. First, I've only found one series (next to each other using the arrows) of rooms so far that loops into itself, and it was only two rooms. Second, it looks like every room has exactly the same number of open doors into it as out, and related to this, it looks like all the passages are two-way - that is, if you go through a door into a room, there will be one door in that room that will take you back to the one you just came from. I can't be absolutely sure that's always the case, but it sure looks like it at this point.

I haven't done any kind of real analysis on the colors/shapes/symbols yet, but I'm starting to wonder whether (and it seems like some of you are already assuming this) the temple has every possible combination of the three. That would be 6*4*12, or 288, which divided by 84 (someone said they had that many rooms) is 3.4-ish which seems like a reasonable average of closed doors per room.

Just a bunch of speculation... :)

I'm still not in bed. :)

I do think there is every possible combination of room/color/shape. I just wasn't 100% positive, since I didn't actually count. They did all seem to be there, though. :)

The map is in fact nice ... that all passages are two way. You can always return to the room you can from (the door may not be in the same "place" ... but one of the doors will return you). I had mentioned that earlier, for people wanting to start mapping. Makes it a little easier ... I hate those maps where there are 1 way passages.

72 rooms. Looks like 12 or 13 to go! nice!

you can get them from scratchcards or random events.... im not sure if there are any other ways....

Hey, sorry if i am a little behind..... but is it just me, or does the temple's doors change with the time of day? like 2-3 PM youll get 4 blank doors, 4 with rubies on them, and 4 with symbols.......... and... then... 3-4 pm you get like.... 4 doors with different symbols, only 2 blank doors, and 10 of them with ruby doors only shaped and colored different..... im getting totally different doors... im trying to go at the same time daily now to see if i can get the same doors...

especially since there are two different tomb pictures with day and night in the background....

Theoretically, someone got a scroll as a prize from a desert scratchcard... but I heard that they couldn't remember wether it was the prize, or an RE on the same pages the prize.

EDIT: I just saw a screenie of someone finding a scroll as a random event.
It was on the page mentioned above, the one that was noted as being highly graphic intesive.

Re: Door leading to the statue. The theory goes that it depends on the poem that you have before entering the tomb. Have a look on page 5 & 6 for the theory as to what your door will look like.

I have not noticed that the doors have changed. Every single time that I have gone through the temple hasn't changed; it would be very difficult to map otherwise.

Sigh, have only mapped 22 rooms so far.

That's all I managed to map so far, I got thrown out going through the first door. I went through the library door before when I didn't know what I was doing, so I don't know which scroll I picked.

Well, nothing happens when you read the same scroll in the three libraries... I've tried that.

And how are people actually mapping? I'm confused because of going through doors and stuff...

I'm doing it by hand, and I'm just colouring the shapes and using letters to indicate what place the black doors lead to. Then, above the coloured doors, I'm finding out what each one does (i.e. giant jelly, spikes, pet turns to sand, etc.) just in case we need to know exactly where in the temple something is located.

People were talking about that the screenie was fake. I don't know if it is or isn't, but just thought I'd let ya know.

I'm not entirely sure how people are inferring things from the 2 lines of riddles they provide us.. can someone care to fill me in? I really want to know how.. it's killing me! :P

My riddle is "The waking dawn on the dunes; A humble portal of stone"

What I think it's a red door with a Benu symbol (bird) on it because I've read somewhere that it symbolises dawn. But I'm not sure what shaped door to pick.. I've picked a red pentagon one with Benu on it because that's the only one I can find on my half-completed map so far and was gassed :P

However I'm also not entirely sure if it's right to interpret that way because of the line "a humble portal of stone" as it might mean a silver or green door (silver = rock colour? green = rock with moss on it?).

Any help would be greatly appreciated 0:)

Look for a red rectangle door.
