Incredibly happy!
1. the Uae has actually been closed down completely twice in a week, first because george w. bush was in town and now because we've flooded with all the rain that has come and destroyed everything.

2. I have a horse! (pictures will come soon!) He's gorgeous and I cant wait until i can get everything started with him

3. I'm going to see snow! Never seen any and in canada its covered in it

Rain like this hasnt happened in this desert for about 12 years
plus the roads here ALWAYS have cars on them so closing down all the roads is near impossible but they've done it.

DEAD. I got a bus after school, and there was loads of traffic. After a while, I got off and changed bus. But then I had to get off that one and walk home, 'cause there was so much freakin' traffic. And I'm sooo tired from that And it was freezing cold the whole time.

Exhausted and frustrated. At least one of my coworkers is back today (from being out sick for 3 days), but she's not going to be answering many calls. At least she's taking over our non-call duties, which will take away *some* of the stress.
Unfortunately, the other one is still out. By the end of the day yesterday, the only thing keeping my voice functioning was hot lemon tea. I'm hoping it doesn't keep getting worse.
All this being said, I'm getting kinda sick of being short staffed. We have been short at *least* one person since July - that's nearly 6 months now, which in my opinion, is ridiculous. At the rate things are going, that's not going to change anytime soon, which irritates me.

I am so looking forward to the weekend, when I can rest...and enjoy a day off on Monday.
