Im not really a battledomer. Ive never trained my pets because of how much I use my Lab Ray.
I know the prizes for 6000 points will suck so Im not even going to think about them
I just want the avatar and sidebar. I dont even care if its a participation avatar.

I got quite a few prize points, considering I more or less lost interest around the last steps. I'm an Elite as well.
It's nice to see the cultural references haven't been stripped out entirely. Anyone else see any referential jokes in the prize page?

Anyway. I'm hoping for a good freezing weapon(maybe a 50% freezer if we're lucky?) and a 50% healer(though I highly doubt it), but I'd settle for merely some pretty weapons if we can't have useful ones. I guess we'll get a bunch of wearables as well--hopefully they'll look cool. There are some good potential backgrounds, I think, and of course space station outfits. If we do get Key Quest tokens, I hope they're automatic and we don't have to spend prize points to get them.

When that step came out, it was noticed straight away as a reference to that very funny analogy.

When the Space Station was revamped, there was talk in the threads of a hoped-for new paint brush to make pets look like wire frame models/polygon mesh, almost like a different version of Sketch. I think a space suit would be cool too or maybe a mash up, like Robots: have space suits, but if you take off the suit, you get a polygon mesh? That would be interesting to see. I do think that given the Space Station revamp, they need a PB to go with it, but since neither the much discussed Neovian (Victorian) nor the Altadorian (toga) PB were released, I don't hold out too much hope.

That would be ideal. Kinda like a sidebar and avatar, it'd be nice if they just "showed up" like our trophies. I doubt I'd personally spend plot points on keyquest tokens.
TNT did say they would be possible to obtain by participating in plots, so it's quite possible it will be a "oh, you participated at least some, so here's a token." I can see them potentially giving one out based on your trophy rank, and having others "purchasable" via points.

Anyone want to place bets on when prizes will actually be out? They said "soon," and for once, I'm inclined to believe it will be very soon. After all, they got the scores up within 2 weeks. That is still astonishing me. I mean, it shouldn't, since pretty much everything on this plot went up without a hitch - and most of it even without lag (until Daily Dare happened) - it's not like we were waiting for things to get fixed all the way through the plot (endless forest mazes, anyone?).

On a side note, I'm getting to the post-plot down stage. I miss the plot already. And, as crazy as I am, I miss doing the 3-mods. Le sigh. {goes and hides before people come after her, talking of taking her to a special padded cell where they can lock her up until she decides that 3-mods aren't that much fun}

I'd say probably with a week or two. I'm personally hoping for a mini yurbot as a wearable trinket. :D And a mod-translation book, a bobble head (love those), a wearable duplicat space faerie token. I'm not hoping for a good weapon like the RotL, I think the plot was too short and relatively easy for such a prize.

Aha, confirmation from TNT on battling but doing no steps:
Editorial wrote:I have been busy in the Battledome for the latest plot. So, when the scores came out I hoped I would get a bit of credit for this, at least enough for an avatar or a site theme. But I didn't get any points at all. Some people say this is because I didn't participate in the puzzle. Why is this? It seems kind of unfair to me. ~loenatik
Players had to complete at the very least the first puzzle step in order for their participation in the plot to register. If you don't do this, we can't track your scores, including any Battledome participation. Please be aware of this for future plots. The first step is generally extremely simple, so that everyone can participate to some degree.

Us first plot steps are small, but we're very important!

Good to know for the future, I guess.

I checked my stats against AySz88, and even though I did less testing and didn't max on all of the battles, somehow I got more points...doesn't make any sense.

You got a few more Specialist Riilan wins, and you attempted to fight the big bad bot, which might have counted for points. Doesn't look like speed counted for very much for either of us, though. :( Oh well, still feel good for helping, anyway. :)

I agree with Lee...two months. If it's in 2 weeks, I'll probably pass out at the uncharacteristic efficiency of TNT.

Yeah, but is it real? It's only 45k points -- I was thinking the top prize should only be available to those in the top prize tier (i.e., not me). Plus the name is 'One-Use Robotification Zappermajig.' Of course, it is humming like a PB. (I ask because tomorrow is April Fools, and someone suggested fake prizes might be TNT's joke.)

Whether it's real or not, I'll hold off until I see how good the BD weapons are and where the prices settle.

ETA: I don't have the avatar under my preferences, so maybe it is a joke? Or maybe just a glitch...

Oops, my bad. I clicked a link and accidentally closed the window quickly, so I didn't get to read it -- it just looked about the size and shape of an avvie. That's okay, I now have 7 site themes (although I'll still use the CG one -- I like the ocean). The trophies are in our look-up, too, so it must be real. That was pretty fast.
