Looks like they gave him fake shoulders... They could've made the outfit look a bit better... :roll:

They really do look like fake shoulders made out of silly putty. :P It doesn't look...authentic. The outfit and the character look more like some guy like randomly dressing up as Superman with a bought costume for Halloween.

And wow, they certaintly are making a lot of superhero movies lately.

Actually, in an article in the April 22 USA Today by Anthony Breznican the skin-tight costume is stretching over the actor's actual frame and muscles.

The actor playing the new Superman is Brandon Routh.
