What do you mean 'this time'? Sponser games have always counted for the avatar.

Actually no they haven't. There was one game recently that overwrote the previous game in it's "slot", so if you played the old game and then the new game, your scores wouldn't increase.

I'm assuming people are talking about the "Top Gamer" avatar. You just need to get 250 scores in your game scores list shown on your user lookup.
