After one of my pets fished up a rare item which I sold for approx. 200k, I decided to use the money to pamper my pet. So I bought her a Zomutt. And naturally, with my luck, shes scared silly of it. My original intention was to paint the Zomutt faerie, but I don't want to waste money on a faerie pppb if shes still going to reject the petpet. So I was wondering...

Does anyone know if a pet who rejects a petpet will accept the same petpet but in a different colour? Is there any way to change the pet's fear of the petpet?

I'm pretty certain a coloured pet will work fine, as long as the length of the name of the petpet increases *ponders*

Whether your pet accepts a petpet is based on the number of letters in their name. If the pet and pet have the same amount of letters it will be afraid of it.

Ways to fix this:
1) Paint the petpet. More letters = less fear
2) Change your language to something like Japanese then try.

You could change the site language and then try to attach the petpet.

I had to change the language once to get my acara to read a book
