The other day here in texas gas was $2.29, its been amazing :D Gas is supposed to be at $2 or below by thanksgiving.

i find it so funny americans get so up in arms about the price of petrol, when its significantly cheaper than both australia and the UK (the uk is twice the price than australia)

$2.29 is about £1.21- that's more expensive than the petrol round here.

oh yes, I know =P Gas doesn't waiver between $2.75- $2.90 (our gas has always been a bit cheaper here, we've never figured out why) for six months and then magically start massive jumps downward on its own.
