Hi guys. I am just now getting around to posting this bit of information I figured out a couple months ago.

I have been on premium for almost 6 months. I have realized that the Premium Something Has Happened "random events" are not so random.

They happen each day when you use the Super Shop Wizard. I typically have to use the SSW at least twice, usually three times, before the SHH email appears.

The random event is usually "won the lottery" with a standard NP prize ranging from 650 to 1400 NP and about half the time including a random item, ranging in value from 50 to 3000 NP.

So, if you have Premium and you haven't been getting your daily random events, start using the SSW.

Oooh, neat! You are excessively clever and wonderful.

I think that it makes a difference if you use the SSW in portal rather than sniperspace. I'd used the sniperspace one a few times already today, but tried a couple of times in portal and got a SHH email. It was the first one I'd gotten in a week!

I wonder if there are any other tricks like this.

I think it's based on how much you use the site/portal because there have been days I've used the SSW over and over and not gotten a SHH and other days where I'll do a little on the site, not use the SSW and I'll get a SHH soon after I sign on.

That maybe your mileage, but I used the SSW a lot and am lucky to get one random event a week at the moment so it is perhaps not quite that straightforward.

Good point. Well, either way, it worked for me. I'm planning on going to the portal page more often, since that seems to affect it somehow.

I've gotten SHH emails without having used the SSW for over a week. SO it's just general portal activity. I used to surf the TV listings for 5 minutes every day and I got a SHH daily.
