Hey everyone! I'm BRAND SPANKIN new and I'm just about to start a neopet and was wondering if anyone could give me advice? what are some good things to do to start out?

Welcome to the area! Definately games are good. Check out the main page.. pinkpt.com It offers a lot of links for dailies and such.. Omelettes, jellies. Cool stuff.

Everyone else has given great advice so far. Other than that, I think that the best thing I ever did on Neopets was to play NeoQuest II. It's a little slow if you're not the type who likes games like that, but there are some amazing prizes, and I think it's really fun. There's an excellent guide to it over at IDNQ.

Neopets is a lot more fun if you have some goal in mind, if you ask me. What's yours?

If you're confused by something on Neopets, ask around here. Usually there'll be someone lovely and helpful who knows. :)

Hmm...you can start a shop, start playing some games (you can play all sorts of games and choose which one is your favourite), start a bank account, start exploring worlds, anything you like! If you're confused about anything, simply pop up here and post a message and most likely someone would help you out! :)

Welcome to the PPT forums andycrow! New to Neopets and PPT - that is a fantastic combination. Check out the front page of PPT. There are great articles there on how to get started, how to earn neopoints, freebies, etc. All suggestions that have been made so far are fantastic. My advice is take your time - get used to the layout of Neopets and the way things work. The more comfortable you are with Neopets, the easier it will be to start doing the really fun stuff! Enjoy starting Neopets, and enjoy posting here and meeting new friends :)

Hiya andycrow, welcome to PPT!

The easist way for a newbie to Neopets to make neos is to first play the non gambleing games which come in flash, shockwave, quests and seek before doing the dailies.

After a while you will feel comfortable doing that. It will be time to open a shop and try selling your stuff as well as your hands at restocking.

Anyway have fun on Neopets and at PPT!
