My mom recently set up a neopets account. (yay for spreading the insanity to family members!) But she has not gotten her activation e-mail, and it's been two days. She got this neomail:

E-mail message has bounced!

A message sent to you at -------- was not delivered. The message from the other server is '553 mailout.neopets.com does not exist'. Check http://www.neopets.com/faq.phtml to find out what you can do to fix the problem.

She double checked that she typed in her email address correct and clicked to have it sent again, still didn't show up. And it's weird that the error is telling us that neopets doesn't exist, not her address.

I told her to contact via the FAQ, but you know how wonderful the customer service from TNT is. So I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone had any ideas on what she should do?

Over in General Chat, Siouxper posted about some server moving that's going on right now. That's probably the issue. Unfortunately, there's probably nothing to do but wait for them to sort out their servers and get back on track.

Oh thank you. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to think this might be related to the huge glitch fest going on right now. *just had a duh! moment* So hopefully it will work soon.

Is anyone else having trouble activating new accounts?
