Kotaku did this nice study.

We all know video game physics are not supposed to be 100% real, but this does a nice comparison to real world standards. The Fallout section makes me think of a quiz in my electronics class where a friend hooked a beer and brain to the circuit we were supposed to analyze and wrote 'Beer + Brain = Good'. He got one point for creativity.
