I finally got the first bag (the silver one). Mine had Twirly Fruit Juice and Grape Rubber Duck Lolly in it.
What is the second bag called? Is it a gold one or something different?

I spent an hour flicking between NeoQuest and the NCMall the other day trying to snag a bag with no luck... I managed to get the Silver one on my second check yesterday. Spent a further forty-five minutes afterwards trying to find the Red bag to no avail though. -prods- Probably not worth it but I can't resist a challenge sometimes. -shrugs- I opened up my Silver one straight away and got a Lemon Tulip Lolipop and a Gummy Yoyo. ^^

I spend a while on at the NC Mall last night with no luck. I just logged on and bingo! I just got the red bag!

I tried 3 times this morning. This evening I got it on the first try.

Are we supposed to open them?

I don't understand about NC mall items, are we able to sell them for NP or trade them? Not that I want to, I am just curious.

They were designed to be opened, although many people keep theirs unopened so they can trade them for other NC Mall items later on.

You can open them, too, and you'll receive a couple items (only worth a few hundred NPs).

You can't sell NC Mall items for NPs, but you can trade them for other NC Mall items.
