I finally got my two entries.

Both pictures were taken with a homemade 4 x 5 pinhole camera.

Entry 1

This image is a close up of a large hamster tank with all of the tubes and stuff. I love how the shapes of the tubes and everything create a unique design.

Entry 2

This was a study in multiple exposure on one sheet of film. I like how the the distortions show really well and the light created a flare around the beanie baby used as a subject.

Hmm... I've decided to enter.

Entry One:

Info: A blue Bic ballpoint pen on white paper.
I made this almost by accident. I was at my brother's abesentmindedly doodling on the notepad he keeps on his coffee table when I started drawing this. It took roughly 45 minutes. I scanned it and then cropped, resized, and cleaned it up slightly in PSP.
By the time I finished drawing it I had begun to get tired of it, but I wanted to finish it so I could stop. So the quality started to go down. I like it though.

Entry Two:

Info: Photo taken with a Vivitar 2.1 mega pixel digital camera. Greyscaled, cropped, and resized in PSP.
I knew I wanted to take an artistic photo, but I had no idea of what. I originally thought of taking a self portrait, and started going through my clothes to find an outfit. But I came across a pair of black pantyhose, and decided to take a picture of my legs.
This probably took a half hour at the most. I took about seven different shots before deciding that this one was perfect.

I drew it for art class. Used pencils. Took me around 10 hours altogether to finish. The person in the picture is actually my idol

...when you say "no copying" you do mean no copying other people's work right? because mine is from a movie poster in my room, not from someone else's art. I just drew one person from the poster. I just want to get this straightened out. I'm so confused. If I'm not allowed to draw a poster image, I'll remove my entry.

Speaking of deadlines, I woke up this morning and realized I'd forgotten to work on my entry, so it isn't as cool as I wanted... but you know, I'm okay with that. For 4 hours of work, I'm very happy with this.
