MSN. Nobody i know uses AIM very much and i've never tired it.

AIM, as more people I know have it, but MSN does have cooler smilies, though you can get new smilies on AIM... I have Magic Wands!

AIM is great. Other than the buddy icons must be a tiny size, the fonts can be a horrible shade of yellow over a horrible shade of bright pink, and the windows are incredibly small.

AIM. MSN has always sort of annoyed me; probably because my old version tends to log itself in and do weird things.

MSN, I've never personally used AIM because I've never needed too, all my friends are on msn and it's just simpler I think.

AIM as I don't have MSN and I'd use yahoo for the cool smilies but nobody I know uses it more than once every 5000 years ... and because in aim...you can open and close the eyes over and over again...

MSN 100%. None of my friends have AIM... I mean, real-life ones. And the avatars are bigger, games are nice and the lovely pen function ;)

MSN all the way.

    -more clean, professional look
    -cosumisable
    -able to invites all your friends into one window
    -better smilies
    -awesome games
    -all my friends are on it
    -normal people
    -no stupid annoying sounds every time you send/recieve a message
    -able to change your name whenever you feel like
    -bigger icons
    -clean organised list of who's online and who isn't


oh yeah, MSN kicks AIM's tushie all the way to pluto

I have both, but it's AIM all the way. It's simple, and all my friends use it. Plus, I've got this thing called aiMutation, it lets you customize the appearance and everything.
