Wasn't that a reference to the fact that they're going to try and stop pets with say 1000hps from maxing out on the first waves and having 10k war points before the second wave even arrives?

I just hope this war they don't have a limited number of opponents. It's so annoying trying to get into a lagging BD to actually fight opponents then and there before they run out. Not only that but I know in the past waves have been released while I'm asleep and by the time I got up the opponents were all gone.

I know. I just hope that if they do put a limit on they end up doing the same again and eventually allowing a free for all!

What I would like is that there would be two different ways to fight. There would be the war as it is normally, where people fight the baddies in the battledome. I owuld also like a 'flash war'. A flash game, where you can similarly try to defeat the baddies, in a platformer to get to 'the belly of the beast', or a Tekken-esque fighting game. You could get points in both these ways.

A flash game like Contra (does anyone remember that? talk about old school ) would be cool. It's an original Nintendo side-scroller game where you are constantly attacked by different bad guys and you can collect bonuses and weapon upgrades and complete levels by beating boss opponents until you get to the final boss.

(Lol. Your "belly of the beast" comment reminded me of the end of Contra when you are in the belly of the main boss. )

That's actually a great idea (I think). Have a sort of "Lenny Conundrum War." The only problem would be answers would leak out far too fast, so maybe make the first three easy and the rest super-hard.

Bah! But then that wouldn't be fair to all of us who aren't good at math! >=o

I love Jassy's and Matt's ideas. That sounds like it would be fun. ^_^

It'll probably be something along the lines of limiting the number of opponents a user can kill per wave, which would pretty much solve the first problem. To solve the problem of missing out on waves, they should stagger the opponents in a wave--like release 1/12 of the wave every hour or something until they run out of opponents in that wave--so it's fairer to those who live in different time zones.
