System of a down
Anyone have thier new cd? I don't have it yet, but I plan on getting it. B.Y.O.B. is rockin', and Cigaro is good too, but that's all I've heard. If you listen to S.O.A.D, you should know that their lyrics are very political, so tell me if you agree with most of thier stands. Call me a commie, but I agree with most of the things they say in thier music. I've been listening to Toxicity lately, and I just got thier first cd, System of a down. Hoping to get "Steal this album!" From toxicity, either DeerDance, or Needles is my favorite. Offa System of a Down, I like "War?", DDdevil", "Darts", and Soil. If you haven't heard B.Y.O.B. yet, go to systemofadown.com They stream it forever.
I Feel Asleep!
Anyone who understood the "The Matrix Trilogy" is a nihilist.
My mate Ant loves the new CD, and Hog thinks it's fairly good, so probably worth your time.
I'm a bit lukewarm on SOAD, but I think some of their stuff is pretty damn good.
Brits, I can't remember what song it is, but they have a track where the middle sounds exactly like the Club Singer Round on Shooting Stars

I was listening to BYOB ages and ages ago, then everyone found out about it and started listening to it. The love I had for that song went down the pan quickly. Heh.
The songs on Toxicity are sheer brilliance, but the songs on Mesmerise don't quite reach that level in my opinion. Still good though. But like I said, overrated.

I love love LOVE System of a Down. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to the new album (my brother bought it saying that he would let me borrow it, but he hasn't let go of it for one second since he got it) but I have heard a few of the songs. BYOB isn't my very favorite of theirs, but I do like it. I like most of the songs you listed (Deer Dance, Soil, Ddevil, War?) as well as Chop Suey, Toxicity, Prison Song, and Sugar.

I like System of a Down. I've got the self-titled album, Toxicity, and Steal This Album, but not the new one. The three I do have, though, are really good, though. I especially like the song Chic N' Stu for some reason that I'm not sure of.
