Whats the difference betweeen a portal user and a premium user??? I have access to the portal yet I'm not a premie user I don't pay a cent. o_O but I did alpha test the neo toolbar and neomail service :D

Exactly, we also don't get the benefit of no ads, the exclusive boards (although the link taunts me everytime I see it >_<) and the perk of a link to the portal on the sidebar onsite. I'm a portal user too, but the benefits of the portal free as a whole make up for all the stuff I miss in my opinion :)
