That's right. The new Zelda game is going be delayed until Q2 2006. The Nintendo team wants to add more levels and more depth.

"After much discussion, the Zelda development team has requested extra time to add new levels, more depth, and even higher quality to Zelda: Twilight Princess. Consequently, we're announcing a new global launch in 2006," stated Perrin Kaplan, Nintendo of America's vice president of marketing and corporate affairs.

It will be realeased around April 1st, when Nintendo starts it's next fiscal year.

But, The Nintendo fans will be happy to know that the Gameboy Micro is coming out and September 19th, and the DS will drop $20 on August 21st. The price drop will coincide with the release of Nintendogs and Advance Wars: Dual Strike for the DS.

Whoo I should tell my Nintendo Crazed friends about this

Why would you lower prices for a System if it's greatest games for it are comming out... Seems like a good marketing stragie but I wouldn't lower it much maybe 5 or 10 dollars but only as a sale.

I don't know why I post though as I'm not a Nintendo fan what so ever...

Aw man. And I was looking forward to the new Zelda game too. Now I have to wait longer. >__< Ah well.

Anyways, I'm saving up for a DS so the price lowering thing really helps. I'll admit that it makes it seem as if Nintendo is desperate to get sales, though. (just like when the Gamecube was released...isn't it like $99 now? I'm sure it started out at $199)

And I never really got why Nintendo is making the Game Boy Micro. o_O I'll stick with my first-edition GBA, thank you.

I'm REALLY ticked off about this but I'll have about 20 DS games to keep me busy until next year so it's all good.

In other strange Zelda news, IMDB lists 50 Cent as playing Epona, and Richard Simmons playing Tingle. See for yourself!

Richard Simmons would make a great voice for Tingle XD

My brother was devestated when he heard, and although I'm a bit dissapointed I'm not too fussed. I'd rather they take more time and have a better game then release a half decent one at Christmas.

When I found out about this I was sad, partly because now I'll have to buy this myself rather than get it for Christmas, but if it's going to be bigger and better, I can wait. I've been waiting for this game for a long time, so I suppose I can wait a bit longer.

Aww, sort of dissapointing. But the fact that it's because they're adding more levels makes it worth it. It'll be out in time for my birthday!

And Richard Simmons of all people? XD That'll be a bonus to listen to him as Tingle.

It was a bit surprising at first, but now I'm okay with it. I'll just find other games that I want.

Don't go to the GameFAQs forum. Almost all TP topics are about the delay. :o

I don't have a problem with it, since I had forgotten it was even coming out soon. I imagine people that preordered it are getting kind of ticked off though... :P

If they don't make it in GBC/GBA/GC, then I don't care. *yawn* Windwaker was awesome and addicting though... had me going for about 1.5 weeks right after spring break. :P

yes well, IMDB also listed the voice of Starscream in the 2007 transformers film to be the original guy from G1 didnt they.
hes dead.
and has been for a few years now.

oh well, a games delayed theres a suprise.
its a shame that the world wants easy games with cheap thrills, and not the instant classics that Nintendo have always made (only ONE Ninty inhouse game was bad. and that was aimed at very young children)
