I'm really not sure, I don't think anyone ever really got confirmed information about it like they did with the Turmaculus and whatever else.

Someone on the Neoboards was claiming that they managed to get three things from the Symol Hole in a row within a few minutes of each other but I'm not sure how much truth there was to that and whether or not it was just the same page coming up over and over again.

But if you look at the whole probability thing from a different point of view, like looking back to the first day when I had a 1/300 chance, and I've gotten to 300 and then some, it's likely I'll get it sooner than later ? Did that make sense? I'm terrible with wording things today, I'm going to go to bed ._.

Yes, I see what you mean If you have a 1/300 chance of getting it and you've tried 900 times then statistically you should have received something 3 times already.

I don't think I've ever received anything from the Symol Hole but then again, I've never really tried it all that often. I suppose I'll have to add it to my list of dailies!

I think it is, but I don't think you'll actually get anything. The try again tomorrow part leads me to believe that it's another once per day feature. The best thing I've gotten was a book I sold for around 90k, if I remember correctly. In fact, it might have been the only thing. Bleh. I just hope it isn't owning one for X amount of days. I'm tired of missing all the so-called easy avatars because I have four pets.

Seems the majority of people only recieve one item a year when trying every day. Although I have been trying to win Guess the Wieght of the marrow for over 4 years

I've never recieved anything from the symol hole either.

I thought it must have been a useless thing to visit, but then I heard that people do win items every once in a while, so I haven't given up yet.

I've just had it confirmed that the avie can be obtained upon multiple visits to the symol hole in the same day. Someone I know just got it after two minutes of diving over and over.

Refreshing at the second page doesn't seem to work - the number at the end of the url stays the same. You have to use the back button and "enter" again for most browsers, on some you can resubmit the form.
