No light for me. I've been refreshing (and leaving and re-entering the room, just in case) every 5-10 minutes since 6:00 NST. That's THREE HOURS now with no light. I've made sure to be there for the first minute of the hour.

Maybe it's a 6-hour cycle, with two symbols getting the light every hour. (I say two because that's the most I've noticed getting the light at the same time.) EDIT: Actually, that doesn't work, as there were ahns on the neoboards who did get the light, and I haven't.

My Nuria statue symbol is Kar (the leaf), and the colors at the top of my crystal are red, yellow, blue. I've been refreshing in the model-of-Sakhmet room for awhile; no light. I'm guessing the symbols on the wall may be something else we have to click in sequence, like the symbols that were scattered throughout the comic in Chapters 1-3. But they probably don't do whatever they're supposed to do until the crystal is throwing light on the wall.

About "getting the light": I've been trying to get the Cave Chia as a 1-Player Battledome opponant since early this year. Supposedly, all you have to do is refresh in the Tyrannian coloring pages section until you get this challenger--but I still don't have it. It could be that "getting the light" is a random event when you refresh in the model city room. Some lucky people got it right away, just like some people get Cave Chia as an opponant the first time they go to the right page. Thoughts?

Both sets definitely aren't blocked. if you are over on the right side of the floor where you see two stairceses (one up, one down) completely blocked by scroll racks, work your way to the left and down. You will find the correct staircase.

Well, the only thing I've noticed for sure is an increase in the number of people "seeing the light" on the hour.

I think it may be worth gathering specific data on, though - statue symbol, crystal color pattern and light sequence might help us to identify a pattern.

Okay, so it's a top-of-the-hour thing, right? Everyone who has light got it very near the beginning of the hour?

Now to figure out how the cycle is working. Why do some people with a faerie symbol have light and some don't? Rune suggested that maybe they're cycling through faerie symbol/crystal dot combos, which means some of us could be waiting a while.

I have no light. My stats:
Faerie symbol: Ahn
Crystal Dots: blue, red, yellow
